Description

We’re so excited about this week’s episode, because we have our very own Riawna Capri here with us! She’s cutting AND coloring her curly haired client that hasn’t had her hair done in 3 years! Regardless of her client’s hair salon hiatus, she’s happy with her current look and just wants to freshen it up a bit. Obviously she came back to Riawna because she’s a rock star when it comes to enhancing naturally fabulous texture. But not only that…Riawna truly understands how attached a person can be to their hair and all of the emotions and energies that are tied into that. Her client knows that she can trust her to change up her look and release all of that old energy in a safe and secure place. Ri will be taking us through tons of her cutting and coloring tips for curly hair including some epic Balayage techniques that work brilliantly on that client that is looking for a little bit of a refresh but nothing too drastic. We’re OBSESSED with the final look because it’s not so much a makeover as much as it’s taking what someone already has going on and turning it into an A+ version of itself. We can’t wait for you to check it out!

Riawna Capri

As a super down-to-earth, yet honest person, Riawna’s special touch has clients coming from around the world to have her help create their “best you.” Riawna is always joking around and laughing too loud, but she takes her craft very seriously. After graduating from Oxnard High School, her parents forced her to go to college, which lasted for two years, until she made it to Marinello’s School of Beauty, in Henderson, Nevada, circa 2002. After graduating at the top of her class, she went to work at “the best salon in LA,” which at that time, in her eyes, was Fred Segal Beauty. From there, she opened Nine Zero One with co-founder, Nikki Lee, and launched IN COMMON.
