Description

Framing the face with flawless color is always in style. Keeping it super easy and salon friendly? Well talk about chic!! This week, we have Joico’s very own Zoë Carpenter here with us and she’s going to shed some light on her innovative “lace front” color technique. What does that mean, exactly? Zoë creates the perfect blend of color around the entire frame of her client’s face with simple steps that are perfect for the salon. She’s going to take you through everything from how she quickly foils the hair as well as show you all three of her color formulations to create the perfect blend of blonde. Her process has literally changed our lives and we know that you’re going to love it!

Zoë Carpenter

From “tow-headed” kid to “dirty blonde” teen, it took this now quintessential hi-lift blonde many trips to the salon before she learned, SHE needed to take her blonde strands into her own hands if she wanted it done right. Joico Guest Artist, Zoë Carpenter is a blonding pro, but she didn’t get there on her own. This gutsy blonde took matters into her own hands (much like her hair) and emailed renowned master colorist Beth Minardi seeking adventure and a challenge. Zoë certainly got it working in the high-end, upper east side of Manhattan. She would come to repeat this adventure-seeking when she decided to pack up and move across the country to sunny southern California and challenge herself yet again working at Kim Vo Salon in Beverly Hills where she’s been since 2015. Whether in the chair, on stage or behind the camera, Carpenter is known for being “the queen of blonde”.
