So...we have a little something special for you this week on BCTV! We’re kicking off our “Oh S#!T” series for all of those, well, let’s just say disastrous unplanned moments that happen in the salon...ALL the time. To start us off, we have none other than our very own Nikki Lee! She’s going to show you some of her go to hacks for fixing those botched layers that we’ve all seen and have had to deal with, ESPECIALLY with people coming out of quarantine who may or may not have chopped their own hair. We love Nikki’s techniques because they work beautifully for that long haired client who you know is going to freak if you cut too much of their length off; her tips are the perfect compromise that will flawlessly fix those layers without compromising your client’s overall length. Crisis averted!!!

Hair stylist, salon owner, entrepreneur and mom, Nikki is a jill-of-all-trades. Whether she’s layering in some extensions, crafting the perfect blonde locks or touching up a deep brunette shade, she always makes her clients feel and look their best. Nikki went to beauty school in her hometown of Reno, Nevada. After she graduated, she went to Genesis Salon. When she moved to LA, she assisted at Fred Segal Beauty in Santa Monica, California. After opening Nine Zero One Salon with co-founder, Riawna Capri, they launched IN COMMON.
