This week on BCTV, we are so stoked to have the super talented Amelia Fugitt with us. She’s known for her flawless foils and is going to show us a blending technique that she calls “Platinum Placement.” She is also going to teach us how she backcombs her way through any hair-coloring situation! Backcombing is something that every hairdresser is familiar with but doesn’t necessarily know how to do properly…especially when it comes to color. Amelia is going show us her different backcombing tips and tricks and take us all the way through her color process. You definitely don’t want to miss it!

Amelia Fugitt

Amelia is a Paul Mitchell homegrown and after graduating cosmetology school in Atlanta, she attended an advanced academy called The Mastery. While there, she received training by her mentor, Paul Mitchell Editorial Director and celebrity stylist, Lucie Doughty. Amelia is extremely passionate about hair and loves blowouts, styles, updos, and color. She is also a makeup specialist and enjoys making people feel their best. Her work has been featured in Modern Salon, Jezebel Magazine, Bangstyle, Hairbrained, and Vogue Italia. Although she loves the editorial world, her true passion is behind the chair. She highly values education and she hopes to one day become an educator for Paul Mitchell to inspire other students and hairstylists as much as her mentors inspire her.
